17/12/04: new Xmas look for VH1 Classic UK, while the european version remains untouched. VH1 Classic has been splitted into two separate versions - one for the UK and one for the rest of Europe - at the beginning of december. VH1 Classic UK is available on Astra, 28° east, 11895 V 27500 2/3 and
VH1 Classic European on Astra, 19° east, 11738 V 27500 3/4. |

18/12/04: some technical problems for the MTV channels at about 5 am CET, when an emergency tape - with back-to-back videos and no logo - started on MTV Hits, MTV Base and MTV Dance and crackling audio on MTV2 Europe.
A few minutes later MTV Hits was replaced by MTV UK. Some 20 minutes later everything came back to normality. The problems affected MTV on both Astra satellites, 28° east and 19° east, and so, european viewers were able to watch MTV UK on the frequency where they usually get MTV Hits.
